We rely on research partners and citizen scientists—like you—to collect data, so that we can better understand how free-living honey bees survive in the wild. We may also ask your input on a few things along the way…

Participation is simple

Report a nest site

If you spot a free-living colony, report its location, plus a few nest characteristics.

Monitor a nest site

If you become a Bee Guardian, observe the entrance for survival and behavioral traits.
